About Resume Desk

What it does

You type your details into a form and watch a clean one-page resume build as you go. When you are happy with it, you download a PDF. You can use it without making an account.

Why it exists

Many resume tools make you sign up and then charge you before you can see the result. Resume Desk lets you build and preview first. You only make an account if you want to save your resume.

Made for US and UK applications

• US mode uses Letter paper and says "resume".
• UK mode uses A4 paper and says "CV".
• Both leave out photos and dates of birth, which employers in these countries generally do not want.
• The PDF has real, selectable text, so hiring software can read it.

How it is paid for

Building a resume and downloading the PDF is free, with no watermark. We plan to add a paid Pro plan later, with extra templates and more saved resumes.

Who runs it

Resume Desk is an independent project run by Hari Nepal from Nepal. I built Resume Desk to make writing a clean, professional resume simple, and free to try before you sign up.
