Agreeing to these terms

Resume Desk is run by Hari Nepal ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Resume Desk does

Resume Desk lets you build a resume or CV in your browser and download it as a PDF. Some features need a free account. Some features are paid.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to make an account.
• Give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

Your content

Your resume belongs to you. When you save it to your account, you give us permission to store it and show it back to you, and nothing more. We do not use your resume for anything else.

You are responsible for the facts in your resume. Please make sure they are true and that you have the right to share them.

What you must not do

• Break the law or use the site to deceive employers, such as inventing jobs or qualifications.
• Try to break, overload or get around the site, including getting around any limits or paid features by technical tricks.
• Use bots or scripts to create accounts or PDFs in bulk.
• Upload or write anything that is harmful, hateful or belongs to someone else without their permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that do this.

Free use and Pro

• Free: you can build, preview and download your resume as a PDF without limit and without a watermark.
• Pro: a paid plan we may offer later. Prices will be shown before you pay and may change. A price change does not affect a period you have already paid for.

Pro checkout is not open yet. When it opens, the billing, cancellation and refund terms will be shown here and at checkout before you pay.

No promise of a job

Resume Desk is a tool for making a document. We cannot promise that a resume made with it will get you an interview or a job, or that every hiring system will read it perfectly.

Our property

The site, its design, its code and the Resume Desk name belong to us. You may use them to make your own resumes, but you may not copy or resell them.

Third-party services

The site relies on other companies, such as hosting, sign-in, ad and payment providers. We are not responsible for their services, and their own terms apply to you when you use them.

The service may change or stop

We work to keep Resume Desk running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or remove features. Please keep your own copy of anything important, such as the PDFs you download.

Limits on our responsibility

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost opportunities, lost data or other indirect losses that come from using the site, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or zero if you only used the free service. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law as a consumer, or limits responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending your use

You can stop using Resume Desk at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for big changes we will tell account holders by email. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. This does not remove consumer protections that apply to you where you live.
